Privacy policy

How CloudWarrior handles website visits and business enquiries.

Controller and contact

The controller is Patryk Ciszewski, operating as CloudWarrior, Wrocław, Poland. Contact: pat@cloudwarrior.io.

Data and purposes

An enquiry contains an email address, an optional company name and the description provided. These details are used to respond and discuss possible work. Please do not send credentials or sensitive personal data.

Enquiries about a contract with the sender are processed to take steps at their request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Other business correspondence is processed for the legitimate interest in answering enquiries and maintaining business communications (Article 6(1)(f)).

The hosting service processes request information such as an IP address, timestamp and requested URL to deliver and secure the website. The basis is the legitimate interest in operating a secure service (Article 6(1)(f)).

Optional analytics

When enabled and accepted, Google Analytics measures visits and contact actions. The basis is consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Declining does not restrict access. Advertising signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in the website configuration. Form contents are not included in the events sent by this website.

Use “Change consent” in the footer to withdraw analytics consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. The cookie policy describes browser storage and its duration.

Recipients and transfers

The website is hosted using DigitalOcean. Correspondence is handled through email service providers; a draft opened by the form is sent only when the sender sends it from their email app.

When analytics is accepted, Google processes analytics information. Google services can involve processing outside the EEA. Details of its processing terms and transfer safeguards are available in Google’s data processing terms, linked below.

Retention criteria

Enquiry data is kept while needed to respond, discuss the proposed work and retain relevant business records. Where a contract follows, legal record-keeping duties and applicable claim periods determine further retention. Technical request data is used for operation and incident investigation rather than advertising.

The site remembers a consent choice for 180 days, unless browser storage is cleared earlier. Analytics cookies are configured with a maximum lifetime of 180 days without renewing that lifetime on each visit. This browser expiry is separate from Google Analytics reporting retention.

Your choices and rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Send requests to pat@cloudwarrior.io. You may complain to the Polish supervisory authority, the President of UODO, or another competent authority.

Providing enquiry data is voluntary, but an email address is needed for a reply. There is no account registration on this site and it does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
